A iMotions Case Study
Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business sought to advance its undergraduate curriculum by moving beyond traditional data sources and introducing students to experiential learning with cutting-edge physiological data. To achieve this, Professor Dinko Bačić integrated the iMotions human behavior research platform into his "Analytical Decision Making" course to provide students with hands-on biometric research experience.
Using iMotions, students were quickly able to collect and analyze data using technologies like eye tracking, GSR, and facial expression analysis. The solution empowered students to design and execute their own studies, resulting in seven IRB-approved research papers in a single semester on a wide array of timely topics. The vendor iMotions provided a flexible and accessible platform that fostered deep student engagement, differentiated students in the job market, and even led some to consider future careers in research.
