Arizona State University faced a challenge in its affective computing research, where integrating and synchronizing data from multimodal sensors like eye trackers and EEG headsets required extensive programming. By implementing iMotions software, the university gained an easy-to-use platform that seamlessly integrates and synchronizes data from various biosensors. The solution minimized programming efforts, allowing 90% of the lab's work to involve iMotions. This enabled a shift in budget towards research, supported the publication of over twenty manuscripts, and allowed undergraduates to run experiments, dramatically increasing research efficiency on a relatively small budget.
