Vantiv, a leading payment processor and technology provider, wanted to produce industry-leading content that reflected how mobile technology is reshaping shopping and payments. To do that they needed a clear, up-to-date view of Digital Natives’ behaviors, motivations, and frustrations with mobile shopping so their educational content would be relevant to a rapidly changing market.

iModerate used (iM)merge Analytics to survey over 1,000 Digital Natives and applied text analytics to pull themes and verbatim language about mobile shopping needs—convenience, better comparison tools, tailored product information, improved mobile UX, redeemable mobile discounts, and faster delivery options. Those insights allowed Vantiv to create novel, high-performing content that positioned them as a thought leader, achieved well-above-average readership, and was repurposed into an infographic, a short “fast facts” piece, and a video for diverse audiences from small businesses to major banks.
