National Law Enforcement Agency Toughens Fight Against Crime with Immuta

National Law Enforcement Agency, a European government law enforcement organization, needed a better way to govern sensitive data as it moved from on-premises systems to the cloud. Data in Amazon S3 and Redshift was hard to manage with native controls, leading to overly broad access or full masking and even a temporary halt in data delivery until reliable governance could be established.

To address this, National Law Enforcement Agency implemented Immuta Platform with fine-grained, query-time access control, ABAC policies, masking, and auditing across Redshift, S3, Athena, and Trino. With Immuta, the agency protected 50 data sources, reduced data access management FTEs by 67% from 12 to 4, and enabled faster, more secure data sharing with no query performance degradation.
