METRIX creates a 5-minute vibration monitoring animation with Immix

METRIX, a provider of industrial monitoring solutions, faced the challenge of enhancing understanding and implementation of vibration monitoring for Integrally Geared Centrifugal (IGC) Compressors. They commissioned vendor Immix Productions to create an educational animation video that would detail their scalable solutions for API 617 and API 672 compressors.

Immix Productions developed a concise, five-minute hybrid 3D and motion graphics animation that explained complex compressor components and demonstrated the application of the METRIX Digital Proximity System. The solution effectively bridged the gap between technical specifications and practical applications, resulting in a highly impactful educational tool. The animation was later recognized as a winner at the AMA – Houston Crystal Awards, showcasing its success in making complex industrial concepts accessible and engaging.
