The City of West University Place sought to enhance its residents' understanding of its complex storm sewer drainage system and the principles of water flow. The city engaged vendor Immix Productions to create an educational video that would transform this technical, engineering-heavy subject into a more comprehensible format for the general public.

Immix Productions developed a high-resolution animated video that integrated 3D modeling and motion graphics with real Google Earth captures and ArcGIS drawings. The solution effectively illustrated the system's components and operations under various conditions. The project significantly enhanced public understanding, demystifying the drainage process and leading to increased resident support for infrastructure projects. It also fostered greater community engagement and built trust between the city administration and its residents, serving as a critical educational and public relations campaign.
