Hamilton Capital Holding’s janitor lands SOC job using Immersive Labs

Hamilton Capital Holding, a UK-based consultancy, needed to expand cybersecurity skills beyond its specialist team to grow internal talent and enable career changers. To meet this challenge they partnered with Immersive Labs, buying 10 Cyber Pro licenses (plus an additional license for a cleaner candidate) to deliver practical, role-mapped cyber training across the business.

Immersive Labs worked with Hamilton’s customer success manager to create NIST NICE–mapped objectives; employees completed 1,868 training hours in the first four months and 71% of lab completions covered MITRE ATT&CK topics. One cleaner spent about 34 hours completing 154 labs, passed the interview and was hired as a Junior SOC Analyst, helping Hamilton save an estimated £1,000–£3,000 in recruitment fees while improving retention and cyber capability.
