Confidential Automotive Manufacturer, a Fortune 500 global automotive leader, faced difficulty equipping developers with practical security skills, integrating security into developer workflows, scaling training across thousands of engineers, and keeping pace with evolving threats. To address this, they partnered with Immersive Labs and adopted Immersive’s AppSec platform to deliver hands-on, technology-specific security training aligned to real development workflows.

Immersive Labs helped the company build a DevSecOps program with role-specific training paths, a Security Champions initiative, and a cumulative “belt” model of hands-on labs. The program trained thousands of developers, achieving over 9,000 belt completions (each containing 20–30 labs) and recording 217,000 labs and 91,500 training hours in 2024, while driving measurable improvements in developers’ ability to recognize and remediate vulnerabilities and embedding security into daily workflows.
