A iMIS Case Study
The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) is a nonprofit professional association serving about 5,600 members across Texas public school districts. As membership grew, rising costs and heavy paperwork left the team "drowning in paper," with slow registration processing and limited staff capacity that threatened customer satisfaction and made fee increases undesirable.
TASBO implemented iMIS to centralize membership, event registration, committee records and certifications, and used the Baldrige Performance Excellence process and dashboards to track service metrics. The changes enabled email billing, member self-service, and a single staff-facing system, saving time and money, improving registration speed and customer satisfaction, and allowing staff to support more members more efficiently.
