A iMIS Case Study
Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and largest multidisciplinary honor society with chapters on 300+ campuses and roughly 1.5 million member records, was struggling with a paper-based system, limited web presence, poor member communications, and no structured fundraising program. Staff were overwhelmed by collecting and manually entering chapter forms and needed an automated, web-based solution to improve data management, operational efficiency, and services for chapters and members.
By implementing iMIS, chapters can self-manage profiles and upload forms, members enroll and pay dues online, and the organization uses a single database for events, registrations, donor tracking, and richer member demographics. The result: online activity and donations have increased, manual data entry and administrative burden have been largely eliminated, staff productivity has improved, and fundraising and targeted communications are more effective.
