A iMIS Case Study
The New Apostolic Church (NAC) in Canada, part of a worldwide fellowship with hundreds of congregations and tens of thousands of members, faced inefficient, duplicated record-keeping: each local congregation maintained separate membership lists and sent 25–30 forms to headquarters, making reporting slow (six to eight weeks) and creating a heavy administrative burden for volunteer ministers.
Implementing iMIS gave local ministers online access to centralized membership, contact and event data, automated business processes, and improved reporting accuracy. As a result, processing time dropped to 24–48 hours, data entry was reduced by up to 75%, and volunteers were freed from routine administrative tasks to focus on ministry and organizational growth.
