The Australian Medical Students' Association (AMSA) is the peak representative body for Australia’s 17,000 medical students, delivering advocacy, events, training and resources. Facing fragmented systems for its website, membership and events—with manual data syncing, an events system that couldn't distinguish members from non‑members, and many internal groups needing independent access—AMSA needed a single, accessible platform for leaders, volunteers and members.

AMSA implemented iMIS with the RISE Web Development Platform to unify its website, membership, events, volunteer and group management. Manual work was reduced as teams gained control of their own pages, calls to action and advocacy messaging were amplified, and the organisation launched a professional, up‑to‑date site that showcases member value—earning an iMIS Great Things Award.
