The Intensive Care Society (ICS) is the UK representative body for intensive care professionals and patients, providing guidelines, training and national events. As a small organisation with a lean secretariat, ICS needed to replace its legacy ProgressCRM system to better integrate member data with its website, automate workflows and enable online services such as grant applications and streamlined abstract submissions for its annual conference.
By implementing the iMIS engagement management solution, ICS introduced direct-debit renewals, online conference booking, faster batch payments and improved e-marketing and analytics. Within three months the new site generated over 530 online registrations (nearly £150k), reduced staff time through streamlined processes, improved visibility of member engagement, and produced clear metrics to report ROI to Trustees; next steps include launching a member community site and committee areas.
