Camp Manito‑Wish YMCA, a respected wilderness camp founded in 1919 serving more than 3,000 year‑round participants, struggled with manual data entry across disparate databases. The camp lacked a scalable, flexible system to manage donors, campers and staff and to handle everything from camper itineraries and dietary needs to fundraising, registrations and growing operations.
Implementing the iMIS online solution centralized registration, fundraising and alumni tracking so staff could track volunteer‑solicited contributions, capture donor intelligence and generate acknowledgements quickly. Used across dining, counseling, accounting and transportation teams, iMIS created an end‑to‑end management system that expanded the donor base, increased fundraising for facility maintenance and scholarships, streamlined registration and wait‑lists, and improved staff administration (tax forms, rehire packages and certification tracking).
