Builders Merchants Federation Creates Better Data Structure

Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), based in Coventry, England, is the only trade body representing builders merchants and related suppliers across the UK, with 340 merchant members operating in more than 5,000 branches. As an iMIS client since 2016, BMF faced fragmented data and multiple silos that made information sharing slow and increased data security risks.

Implementing iMIS created a central data repository that eliminated silos, improved efficiency, reduced security exposure, and sped up information sharing across the organisation. These improvements helped BMF deliver better services to members and earned recognition, including the Association Excellence Award for Best Association Website (Oct 2018) and an iMIS Great Things Award.
