The Forging Industry Association (FIA) represents more than 220 corporate members, providing training, certification, benchmarking and advocacy to strengthen the forging industry. FIA was hampered by outdated, unintegrated systems that forced staff to update data in multiple places, fragmented event registration, billing and communications, and lacked real‑time integrations or a modern user experience—limiting engagement and slowing internal processes.

FIA implemented iMIS (including RiSE) to centralize its website, member data, event registration and invoicing on a single cloud platform, and added automations to eliminate repetitive tasks. The result: all invoicing and member updates now run through iMIS, staff time is significantly reduced, financial operations are simplified, and members enjoy a more seamless, consistent experience—boosting engagement and operational efficiency.
