Zadig&Voltaire, the French ready-to-wear brand, needed a way to deliver high-quality e-commerce images without hurting site performance. As they expanded their digital experience across mobile and desktop, they also wanted to reduce the engineering effort spent on repetitive image workflows and avoid the SEO and conversion losses caused by slow-loading or poorly optimized visuals. They chose imgix to support their image delivery and optimization needs.
Using imgix’s image optimization and Rendering API, Zadig&Voltaire implemented responsive srcsets across product detail and product listing pages, with support from imgix’s account and support teams. The result was a 66% improvement in desktop page speed, dropping load time from about 15–16 seconds to around 6 seconds, while also saving engineering time and costs. With imgix, Zadig&Voltaire was able to maintain a premium visual experience and deliver content to customers faster.
