CareerBuilder uses SocialBridge to improve collaboration between HQ and sales reps

CareerBuilder, the largest online job site in the U.S. with over 2,000 employees and thousands of partner newspaper reps, needed a better way to distribute documentation and coordinate hundreds of partner sales reps and partner sales managers after moving to Salesforce. Because many reps resell CareerBuilder products but aren’t direct employees, the company required a permission-controlled, easy-to-use platform for sharing materials and encouraging collaboration across markets.

CareerBuilder implemented Central Desktop’s SocialBridge—customizable workspaces, document management, calendars and forums—giving reps direct, secure access to sales resources while letting PSMs monitor assignments and schedules. Strong implementation and training drove quick adoption; the platform increased cross-market knowledge sharing, saved time, improved communication between managers and remote reps, and even spawned inventive uses (calendars as lightweight CRMs) that boosted sales productivity.
