Hutchinson, the global leader in elastomeric rubber and thermoplastic solutions, faced unreliable production scheduling and paper-based shopfloor practices that forced push production and poor visibility. To increase scheduling reliability and introduce a highly visual production monitoring tool, Hutchinson selected IMCO Software and its CIMAG suite to replace ERP-driven shopfloor planning with a dedicated MES and visual management approach.

IMCO Software implemented a customized, visual MES (IMCO - CIMAG Production) alongside IMCO - CIMAG Attendance for workforce scheduling at Hutchinson’s Amiens (France) and Lodz (Poland) sites; after 15 months the solution is 90% deployed in France and 50% in Poland. The deployment moved Hutchinson to pull production, sped issue identification and resolution, delivered reliable accessible data, improved on-time delivery and customer confidence, and enabled workshop redesigns—measurable gains IMCO Software continues to expand as Hutchinson aims to fully replace the ERP on the shopfloor.
