MHA Tait Walker kicks off IT modernization with iManage Work in the cloud

MHA Tait Walker, an independent accountancy practice headquartered in Newcastle with seven offices across Northeast England, needed to modernize its largely on-premises IT estate to support flexible, resilient working and better access to client data. The firm chose a cloud-first approach to replace server-based silos and prioritized moving its business-critical document and email management system to a SaaS model to improve performance, searchability and security.

Working with long-term partner Ascertus, MHA Tait Walker migrated iManage Work to the cloud on Azure, including thorough data cleansing, sync and user training. The result: faster, anywhere access via web and mobile for 175+ users, powerful “big bucket” search and Outlook integration, stronger layered security (including 2FA), lower long‑term costs versus running their own data center, and new capabilities such as iManage Share and automations that improve client service.
