Keoghs is a UK-based, top-100 law firm and the leading provider of claims-related services to insurers, with about 1,700 employees across nine offices and handling over 100,000 claims a year. To reduce the time and cost of processing high volumes of document-heavy claims, the firm sought AI that could automate workflows, extract structured data from unstructured documents, and enable new client‑facing legal products.
Keoghs deployed iManage RAVN — notably iManage Extract and iManage Classify — to automatically find, extract and contextualize key data (for example claimant/defendant names and medical exam dates) and feed it into its case-management system. That capability enabled an AI-powered “avoidable litigation” product that processes low-value claims end-to-end with faster turnaround and lower costs while lawyers continue to train and oversee the system, and Keoghs is now extending the approach to more complex, document-heavy disputes.
