Shearman & Sterling, a global law firm, needed to replace a legacy on-premises document management system that scattered more than a billion documents across multiple repositories. The firm also required secure mobile access, strong governance, and compliance-ready knowledge management to support its lawyers working “any device, anywhere, anytime” with iManage Cloud.

iManage implemented iManage Work 10 in the Cloud, along with iManage Security Policy Manager and iManage Threat Manager, to create a single centralized source of truth with fast search and advanced cloud security. The rollout supported 2,200 users across 23 global offices, and Shearman & Sterling reported strong adoption, with about 85% of the firm actively using iManage Cloud, alongside improved productivity, secure access, and better compliance with client and regulatory demands.
