A iManage Case Study
Clayton Utz, one of Australia’s largest law firms, faced an outdated intranet and a fragmented information landscape that forced lawyers to jump between up to seven different systems to find documents, matters and client data. With some 2,000 pages to maintain and manual workflows slowing access, the firm needed a dynamic, data-driven central hub to present relevant information in context.
The firm implemented iManage Work and iManage Insight to index over 70 million documents into its new intranet, Focus, using pre-configured search agents and an interactive, concept-aware faceted search interface. The solution delivers fast, role- and context-specific results (with in-place document preview), saving lawyers time, improving client service and enabling more serendipitous knowledge sharing across geographically dispersed teams.
