RSM Australia lays foundation for massive growth with move to iManage Cloud

RSM Australia, a national accounting firm and founding member of the global RSM network, set out to unify content and support aggressive 2030 growth, digital literacy, and data-transformation goals across 32 offices. The challenge was to move a massive estate—25.3 million documents, 11 million emails and 31 TB of data—off legacy on-prem systems and reduce reliance on tools like OneDrive while minimizing disruption to 2,000 staff and preserving a single source of truth.

Working with iManage and partner OIA, RSM migrated to iManage Cloud (Work 10 plus Share, Drive, Mobility, Threat Manager and Tracker) in a seamless cutover that delivered markedly faster performance and no user escalations. The move enabled Teams integration and next‑gen co‑authoring, boosted collaboration and productivity, strengthened security and governance, and is on track to deliver roughly AUD 2.28M in savings over the first ~41 months while positioning the firm for further AI and Microsoft integrations.
