INDYCAR Races Ahead With Imagen To Serve International Media & Broadcast Partners

INDYCAR, the governing body for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, needed a new content management solution to give media and international broadcast partners fast, secure access to race videos and photos and to resolve security weaknesses in their old system. They selected Reuters Imagen’s Imagen Pro platform — an ISO 27001‑certified, cloud-based DAM with secure HTTPS/TLS delivery — to meet those needs.

Reuters Imagen implemented Imagen with features like AFD (Accelerated File Download) for faster transfers, self-service access, live‑streaming controls and granular permissions, enabling quick distribution to sponsors and broadcasters. Since deployment INDYCAR has seen registered users rise 137% (since November 2021) and achieved days with 770 pieces of content downloaded in 24 hours (a 102% increase over a prior peak), while improving security, speed, efficiency and international distribution.
