Case Study: ATP Media achieves secure, self-service global content access with Reuters Imagen

A Reuters Imagen Case Study

Preview of the ATP Media Case Study

ATP Media Uses Imagen to Help Serve Up World-class Tennis Content to Global Partners

ATP Media, the global sales, production and distribution arm of the ATP Tour that generates over 3,000 hours of live content from 1,500 matches a year, needed a better way to catalogue and deliver its growing library to broadcasters and partners. Previously reliant on a broadcast portal and manual email requests that were slow and hard to scale, ATP Media turned to Reuters Imagen and its Imagen platform to provide a secure, easy-to-use web portal and metadata-driven search for partners.

Reuters Imagen implemented the Imagen platform as a branded, self-service media portal with rich metadata, contextual collections, single sign-on, clipping/encoding tools and integrated analytics. The solution tripled available assets per tournament (from 100 to 300), unlocked access to a 150TB archive back to the 1990s, sped delivery to clients (enabling quick social campaigns such as Nike sourcing Nadal footage) and freed staff time while creating new revenue opportunities.
