iLobby worked with Toronto District School Board’s Lord Dufferin P.S., a downtown inner-city school serving the Regent Park community, to replace a slow pen-and-paper visitor logbook. The school needed a more secure and efficient way to manage a wide range of visitors, including families, temporary staff, evening students, and teachers, while making it easier to search records, identify visitor types, and support quick investigations.

iLobby implemented a tablet-based visitor management kiosk in the main office with configurable sign-in types, visitor photo capture, signatures, directory search, automatic notifications, and searchable reporting. The solution also added badge printing and QR codes for returning visitors, helping staff quickly identify authorized guests and reduce unauthorized access, while end-of-day reports improved record-keeping and accountability.
