Ingersoll Rand Boosts Efficiency and Safety with Integrated Visitor & Emergency Management

Ingersoll Rand, a global industrial manufacturer with more than 30 facilities worldwide, needed a better way to manage visitors and respond to emergencies at its Ocala, Florida plant. The existing process relied on a lobby telephone directory, manual check-ins, and fragmented emergency communications, which created security gaps and slowed response during events like severe weather or lockdowns. Ingersoll Rand turned to iLobby to modernize both visitor and emergency management.

iLobby implemented VisitorOS and EmergencyOS at the Ocala facility, giving Ingersoll Rand automated visitor check-in, badge printing, pre-registration, training videos, and faster emergency notifications by text and email. The new system improved communication, streamlined entry, and helped the plant meet evacuation and roll call benchmarks within seven minutes. Ingersoll Rand also reported stronger compliance, better operational visibility, and overwhelmingly positive feedback from employees and visitors.
