Case Study: National Bank reduces security vulnerabilities with Illusive Networks

A Illusive Case Study

Preview of the National Bank Case Study

Bank Reduces Security Vulnerabilities as Close to Zero as Possible

National Bank, a U.S.-based national bank owned by a multinational financial services company, needed better visibility into gaps between its layered security controls. Working with Illusive, it sought to identify exploitable weaknesses, accelerate remediation, and preempt attackers across more than 10,000 user endpoints and critical banking operations.

Illusive implemented its Attack Surface Manager and Attack Detection System to create deceptive pathways, expose high-risk access routes, and detect lateral movement early. As a result, National Bank reduced domain administrator privileges from 350 to 0, removed high-risk pathways to crown jewels, and increased confidence among executives and the board in its security controls.
