The customer, a major electronics manufacturer, was facing critical IT infrastructure challenges, including completely exhausted storage capacity, performance issues with key Oracle databases, and the complexity of managing multiple disparate systems. After being entrenched with another vendor, they engaged IIS Technology, HPE, and Cohesity for a major upgrade to address these problems.

IIS Technology, HPE, and Cohesity implemented a unified solution featuring HPE Storage Primera for primary storage and Cohesity secondary storage on Apollo servers, all connected via high-speed Brocade switches. The solution also included new HPE Flex Superdome systems and ServiceGuard to create a high-availability disaster recovery environment. This provided the manufacturer with tremendous storage scalability, lightning-quick performance for its databases, and the ability to manage everything from a single pane of glass, significantly streamlining IT operations.
