Yaskawa, the world's largest robotics company, sought to enhance the user experience for its collaborative robots after an initial agency failed to deliver an intuitive interface for its robotic controller. The challenge for IIIMPACT was to completely redesign this teach pendant interface into a modern, user-friendly system capable of handling complex operations, all within a demanding six-month timeframe.

IIIMPACT executed a complete redesign of over 100 screens, creating a modern visual language and an intuitive interface grounded in user-centered design and extensive testing. The result was a powerful new controller that drastically reduced the learning curve for operators and was successfully showcased at SXSW.
