One Photographer’s Passion Project Turns Profitable With iGUIDE

Sparks Media Group, led by Tom Sparks, needed a faster, more efficient way to grow its real estate photography business while overcoming the time-consuming process and quality gaps he had experienced with competing 3D tour systems. After trying Matterport® and finding it too slow, he turned to iGUIDE for a camera system that could capture 360-degree images, floor plans, and accurate measurements in one workflow.

Using iGUIDE’s camera systems, Sparks Media Group dramatically increased efficiency and output, including scanning a 23,000-square-foot property in one hour instead of five and growing from 12 scans in 2019 to 270 scans between March and December 2020. iGUIDE helped Tom save time, lower prices for clients, and expand services, allowing Sparks Media Group to scale to 11–30 jobs per day and add more equipment to meet growing demand.
