A Quality Measurement, based in Happy Valley near Portland, grew out of Gary Kristensen’s appraisal business as demand from real estate agents increased for accurate home measurements and floor plans. As the company expanded to 11 employees and was measuring about 15 homes a day, Gary needed a faster, easier way to scale than hand-measured sketches, especially for larger and more complex properties.
By adopting iGUIDE camera and software, A Quality Measurement could capture square-footage measurements, floor plans, and 3D tours in a more scalable workflow, with files delivered to customers within 24 hours. Gary said the measurements were “spot on,” and iGUIDE helped the company add new 3D-tour business, train operators in just a couple of days, and keep both cameras productive, making it much easier to scale than manual measuring and drawing.
