HP adopts iGrafx as key part of its SAP implementation methodology for ERP systems

Hewlett-Packard needed to align people, processes and technology across system and departmental boundaries as it deployed SAP ERP, and selected iGrafx—specifically iGrafx for SAP and the iGrafx Platform—to complement its SAP implementation methodology. iGrafx was chosen to support enterprise architecture, quality improvement, compliance and risk management so HP could deliver ERP solutions that fully address customer requirements.

iGrafx implemented a solution that synchronizes SAP Solution Manager objects with iGrafx models, giving business and IT the same, consistent view of processes for accurate modeling, gap/risk analysis and reporting. As a result of iGrafx’s process-analysis and modeling tools, HP significantly reduced the number of Requests for Changes, minimized project stress, kept costs low, and incorporated the solution into its application services offerings and SAP showroom demonstrations.
