Badenova AG & Co. KG, the largest energy and environmental service provider in South Baden with more than 1,300 employees, faced rising market complexity and a 2015 restructuring that left processes documented inconsistently across its sales, technical and heat business areas. To achieve company-wide transparency and a standardised visual language, Badenova selected iGrafx and its web-based platform, using BPMN along with iGrafx’s FlowCharter and Process modelling and simulation tools.

iGrafx implemented the platform, created templates, ran targeted workshops, and helped Badenova roll out a convention handbook and intranet integration, going live within two months. As a result, iGrafx enabled Badenova to document around 600 processes in BPMN, provide one‑click process tracing and clearer approval responsibilities, speed onboarding, and improve audit and supplier communication — delivering measurable transparency and operational efficiency across the company.
