Colt Telecom Group, a pan‑European provider of data, voice and managed services, faced fragmented, inconsistent process documentation spread across Word, Visio and Excel in different locations, causing version control problems and limited visibility as it expanded products and services. To standardize and centralize process mapping and support BPMN modelling, Colt selected iGrafx and deployed iGrafx FlowCharter and iGrafx Process Central.

iGrafx helped Colt build a single repository and modelling framework, enabling a central team of ~15 specialists to map processes end-to-end—achieving 40% of processes mapped in a few months—and link hundreds of documents to maps accessible to more than 4,600 employees via the intranet. The iGrafx solution delivered clearer, standardized process documentation, improved transparency and drill-down detail, faster capture of process information and supported Colt’s ability to innovate while maintaining service quality.
