Brown & Co, a UK accounting firm, was growing quickly through organic expansion and acquisitions, but its traditional bill-after-completion model made revenue less predictable and left work outside scope at risk of going unbilled. As the firm expanded to two offices and around 1300 clients, it needed a more scalable way to manage proposals, billing, and payments.

Brown & Co implemented Ignition in early 2020 to standardise proposals and engagement letters, capture approvals, and automate recurring payments. With Ignition, debtor days fell from around 30 to 14, revenue grew 8x from approximately £200,000 in 2020 to £1.6 million in 2026, and the firm reported average revenue growth of 18% over four years.
