Delta Airlines needed a high-performance database for its Crew ReRoute (CRR) system to analyze huge volumes of data and respond in near real time during irregular operations like severe weather. To meet this challenge, Delta selected Ignite Technologies’ ObjectStore (using its Cache-Forward Architecture) to behave like a fast, persistent cache and support cross-database object storage and retrieval.

Ignite Technologies implemented ObjectStore as the core of Delta’s reroute solution, reducing load and query times and enabling much faster analytics and real-time rerouting.
