Flying Tiger Copenhagen, a Danish high-street retailer selling affordable, experience-driven products, was struggling to manage large volumes of daily data and scale its in-house reporting processes built on Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint Online. Concerned these processes would not cope with ambitious growth, they engaged Iglu to assess and address gaps in reporting, validation and permission management.
Iglu re-engineered Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s SharePoint Online and Office 365 solutions, assumed technical and second-line support, and delivered a centralised daily-takings system with strict permissions, automated weekly reports, logical data validation and automated discrepancy flagging. The Iglu solution enabled fast store-by-store and company-wide reporting, improved cash management and reduced manual errors — and within the first day it identified a discrepancy that could have cost the business in excess of £0.5m per year.
