USTA streamlines court access with Igloohome using 24VDC power and offline PIN access

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) sought to modernize the player experience by solving a key operational challenge: the gap between digitally booking a tennis court and physically accessing the facility. While their Serve Tennis platform made reservations easy, many facilities still relied on manual gate unlocking, physical keys, or staff intervention, which created friction and operational inefficiencies for players and operators.

igloohome addressed this by integrating its smart access control solution, including the Keypad (EK2) and Switch Door Controller (SW1X), with USTA's booking platform via API. This automatically generates a secure, time-bound PIN for each reservation, allowing players to unlock electronic gates without staff or keys. The igloohome solution eliminated manual workflows, reduced deployment costs by operating without Wi-Fi, and created a seamless, scalable booking-to-entry experience for players across multiple facilities.
