Restavio, a vacation rental management company, faced high operational costs and logistical challenges due to their reliance on physical key exchanges for their properties and equipment rentals. A major roadblock to automating this process was the lack of reliable internet at many of their countryside rental locations. They partnered with Igloohome to find a smart access solution.

Igloohome implemented its Keybox 3 devices and integrated its igloodeveloper API into Restavio's systems. This allowed Restavio to grant access PIN codes remotely without needing WiFi. The solution eliminated the need for physical key exchanges, reducing staff headcount per city from four to zero and saving an estimated 10 Canadian Dollars and one hour of staff time per exchange. Furthermore, Restavio saw a 25% increase in bookings, attributing the growth to the well-received contactless check-in experience.
