Paycor, a growing payroll and HR SaaS provider serving small- and medium-sized businesses with about 1,600 employees, had used an Igloo digital workplace since 2012 to connect its dispersed teams. As the company scaled, employees found the site clunky, hard to search, and visually out of sync with Paycor’s brand, which depressed engagement and made it difficult to use the platform as a true employee experience hub.
Paycor ran a company-wide survey and focus groups, then partnered with Igloo to refresh the platform’s design, restructure content, improve search and tagging, and clean up outdated files; the refreshed site launched in January 2018. The relaunch produced immediate increases in traffic and time-on-site, more organic employee posts and peer recognition, better new-hire onboarding around the tool, improved leader-to-employee communication, and a scalable, reinvigorated company culture.
