Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners - Customer Case Study

Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, a 200‑person international architectural firm, needed to boost team collaboration, introduce hotdesking and enable staff to work remotely from home or project sites. To achieve this mobility they adopted virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and engaged IGEL, deploying IGEL OS (with the IGEL Universal Management Suite) alongside VMware Horizon and NVIDIA vGPU technology.

IGEL converted and repurposed existing Dell workstations into centrally managed Linux endpoints, allowing high‑performance virtual desktops to run key design applications. IGEL’s solution extended desktop lifespan by about 75% (from ~4 to ~7 years), delivered full mobility and better work‑life balance, simplified IT management for the small IT team, and helped Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners continue operating effectively during the Coronavirus outbreak.
