Fulton Financial Corporation, a U.S. regional financial services holding company with about 3,700 employees and 242 retail branches, needed to deliver a rich multimedia experience inside its Citrix XenApp environment while giving users a Windows‑like desktop without deploying Windows PCs. After evaluating options, Fulton selected IGEL and its IGEL Universal Desktop (UD6) thin clients and management software to meet those requirements.

IGEL supplied 2,300 UD6 thin clients (Intel Celeron J1900) and the IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS) for centralized control; the deployment improved multimedia performance, simplified configuration, and made device management “virtually hands‑free,” reducing on‑site technician visits and lowering time and costs. Fulton has seen faster provisioning across headquarters and branches and plans to roll IGEL out to the remainder of its workforce.
