Teekanne brings maintenance management to a new level

TEEKANNE GmbH & Co. KG, a 140‑year‑old market leader in tea with production sites in seven countries and ~1,300 employees, needed to standardise and digitise maintenance across locations. Their Excel‑based approach no longer met rising requirements: they required SAP integration, mobile shop‑floor documentation, audit‑proof processes for IFS certification, greater transparency and higher maintenance productivity.

TEEKANNE implemented Ultimo Enterprise Asset Management—initially on‑premises and since 2021 on Azure cloud—giving technicians tablet access to checklists, work orders and documents at the machine and integrating with SAP for stock control. The solution delivers traceable, IFS/ISO‑compliant records, enables data‑driven optimisation of maintenance intervals, increases equipment availability and safety, and has been rolled out to additional sites.
