Suzuki Garphyttan embraces a single, evergreen ERP platform with IFS Cloud

Suzuki Garphyttan, a 118‑year‑old specialist in advanced spring wire products with operations across Europe, North America and Asia and more than 600 employees, needed to replace aging legacy systems that could not support new markets, stricter traceability requirements or rapid change in the automotive industry. Facing 30‑year‑old software and the shift to electric‑vehicle specifications, the company launched “OneShare” to roll out a single global ERP across six countries, going live in April 2022 for 300 users in Sweden and Germany.

The company selected IFS Cloud as an evergreen, cloud‑based ERP to unify multi‑site data, provide full material traceability, optimize global supply chains and enable Industry 4.0 and mobile workflows. As an IFS Pioneer customer Suzuki Garphyttan tailored coil‑handling needs while keeping a standard core, became the first to go live with version 22R2 in January 2023, and is extending the platform to a further 350–400 users—delivering better control, agility to enter new markets and continuous software updates.
