Robertson Fuel Systems designs crashworthy fuel containment systems used by all branches of the U.S. military to prevent post‑incident fires in aircraft and ground vehicles. Confronted with tight regulatory and contract controls and an aging, siloed ERP, the company needed better visibility and efficiency across projects, manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Robertson implemented IFS Applications—covering finance, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, engineering, projects, maintenance and a Defense Manufacturing Extension—and moved the shop floor from paper to rolling digital workstations. The integrated solution delivered end‑to‑end visibility from orders and contracts through delivery and invoicing, enabling proactive decisions, higher manufacturing productivity, fewer errors, greater employee accountability, stronger reporting and smoother audits; Robertson now plans to upgrade to a newer IFS version.
