Pori Energia Oy boosts its business with the IFS ERP system

Pori Energia Oy, a 120‑year‑old energy company serving Pori and the Satakunta region, needed a modern, company‑wide ERP to replace an outdated system and improve communications across multiple plants and offices. The goal was a flexible, upgradable solution that would support finance, purchasing, project work and future maintenance needs while integrating with existing systems.

In May 2018 Pori Energia implemented IFS Applications to manage financial administration, project management, purchasing, warehousing and sales (with maintenance to follow). The system, now used by about 150 employees, has accelerated and clarified processes, improved information flow and automation, enabled paper‑free finance, streamlined purchasing and invoicing, improved warehousing and sales support, and been well received by staff — delivering more efficient daily operations and supporting ongoing business development.
