Jotun is a global paint and coatings company with 40 production facilities and a presence in over 100 countries, serving decorative, marine, protective and powder-coatings markets. Rapid growth and a complex, cross-border business model created challenges around controlling raw-material cost volatility, standardizing processes across regions, and meeting diverse local regulatory and legal requirements.

Since 2003 Jotun has rolled out IFS Applications across more than 30 countries, replacing some 15 legacy systems and extending to planned deployment across 200+ sites in 40 countries. IFS solutions — including ERP, warehousing data collection with mobile/barcode technology and standardized workflows — have improved inventory efficiency, planning productivity, cost visibility and global collaboration, enabling tighter cost control and continued innovation and growth.
