Orkla, a leading consumer goods company with 15 production sites in Sweden, needed a modern maintenance platform to support its sustainability and digital transformation goals. At its Filipstad site the company was hindered by a 25-year-old CMMS that suffered unexpected breakdowns and could not keep up with evolving requirements, so Orkla sought a user-friendly, reliable solution to streamline maintenance and administrative tasks.

Orkla selected IFS Ultimo’s cloud-based Enterprise Asset Management platform, introduced via partner Good Solutions, to deliver preventive maintenance, maintenance planning and better asset control. After one month of use the site reported almost no problems and high project-team satisfaction; the rollout has already improved maintenance management, cost control and support responsiveness and will be extended to other departments across the organization.
